Since the Digital Service Act came into full effect, researchers, civil society organisations, and regulatory bodies across Europe have been working to monitor platform compliance. The RADAR framework introduces standardised tags for DSA infringements which are intended to pool findings and identify patterns, compare assessments, and build a comprehensive picture of the digital landscape.

How to use RADAR

The RADAR framework categorises DSA infringements into 13 groups, ranging from cyberviolence to data access violations. Each potential DSA infringement has a unique ID (eg. cr_01) that can be matched with issues identified on platforms. On the contrary, issues can be labeled with more than one tag. Each infringement includes specific behaviours named “observables”.
