All our interviews are conducted over Whereby (online video platform). We prefer CET office hours, but we can be flexible if that’s difficult for you.
If interviews don’t work out this time, you’re welcome to re-apply after 12 months, and earlier if something materially changes about your experience or skills.
All our positions are for now fully remote, all the time. No matter where you reside in Europe, your location will not be a barrier to joining our team. We acknowledge the value of flexibility and adaptability, hence we've completely embraced the remote work approach. There's no transitional phase or requirement to come into an office at any point - you'll have the liberty to contribute to our mission from wherever you choose.

We empower the fight against disinformation. Check First is a software and methodologies company founded by a developer and two journalists. We focus on creating the best tools and practices for the peculiar job of countering and monitoring fakes and influence campaigns, and gain time in the process by fostering collaboration. Our best asset is the complementarity of our founding team, making us approach problems in a comprehensive and innovative way.
