This hybrid event will investigate the new frontier of disinformation technologies and tactics – and their potential to impact democracies around the world.
Today, as in the past, disinformation threatens to undermine faith in electoral processes, solidarity among social groups and even the notion of the truth itself. But the tactics and tools weaponised to do so are becoming increasingly more subtle and sophisticated, requiring democratic policymakers and stakeholders to become more proactive to anticipate worrying trends.
That’s why we would like to cordially invite you to virtually attend DisinfoCon in Berlin on 6 December 2022.
As part of the Disinfo Radar project, made possible with funding from the German Federal Foreign Office, this event will bring together renowned international experts from research, policy, think tanks, regulatory institutions, activism, civil society and technology companies to discuss today’s most pressing disinformation challenges and explore effective, multistakeholder solutions.
Together, we will investigate the new frontier of disinformation technologies and tactics – and their potential to impact democracies around the world.
The conference will take place on Tuesday, 6 December 2022. Streaming details, a full itinerary and virtual event specifics will be shared closer to the event.
