Panel: “Trump swayed social media: how will Europe react?”

Les Surligneurs, the legal checking media outlet, will host a new event, “Trump Swayed Social Media: How Will Europe React?” on 11 February 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Lucernaire, 53 Rue Notre Dame des Champs, 75006 Paris, France.

Panel: “Trump swayed social media: how will Europe react?”

The panel will focus on the Digital Services Act (DSA), the Code of Practice on Disinformation and the effectiveness of legislation. Moderated by Nelly Pailleux (Head of operations at Les Surligneurs), the panel will include:

  • Marie Bohner, Head of Digital Investigation Development and Partnerships at Agence France Presse (AFP),
  • Valère Ndior, Professor of Public Law at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale, specialising in the regulation of technology and social networks,
  • Vincent Couronne, Director of Les Surligneurs, researcher.
