Artificial Intelligence and its Implications for the Information and Communication Space: Launch of the Policy Recommendations

This launching event of the Policy Recommendations on “Artificial Intelligence and its Implications for the Information and Communication Space” is organised by the Forum on Information and Democracy in cooperation with the Center for Human-Compatible Artificial Intelligence (United States), Florence School of Transnational Governance – EUI (Italy), O Instituto Brasileiro de Ensino, Desenvolvimento e Pesquisa (Brazil), Research ICT Africa (South Africa) and SciencesPo PSIA Tech and Global Affairs Innovation Lab (France).

The webinar will be held online on 28 February 2024 from 18:00 to 20:00 (CET). The agenda and connection link will be sent to registered participants.

These measures will ensure the safe and responsible development and deployment of AI systems, establish appropriate liability and accountability regimes, incentivise ethical AI, and establish governance and oversight mechanisms.
