Platform Regulation and Democracies – summer school

The Leibniz-Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow Institut (HBI), in collaboration with the Faculty of Law of the University of Hamburg, the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG), the Centre for Communication Governance (CCG) at the National Law University Delhi (NLUD), and the Instituto de Tecnologia e Sociedade do Rio (ITS Rio), is co-organizing a summer school on platform regulation and democracies.

The event will be held in Delhi, India, from 21-28 April 2024. The UNESCO Chair on Freedom of Communication at the University of Hamburg and the Global Network of Internet and Society Research Centers (NoC) are also involved in the organisation. The summer school is exclusively for admitted students and focuses on exploring platform regulation in diverse societal contexts.
