In January 2022, we built a tool -22vlalapub.fr- that monitored political advertising during the 2022 French presidential elections, and more specifically the candidates, their parties, and the campaign themes
During 4 months, we observed political advertising using its tool 22vlalapub.fr. Using those data, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of the political advertising landscape on social media platforms (namely Meta, Google and Snapchat) during the 2022 French presidential elections.
